Am I able to share fonts with a contractor/freelancer?

Every individual or organization working on the project needs to have their own license to use the fonts. In most cases, the outside contractor should purchase their own license and fonts shouldn’t be passed around.

You also have the option of purchasing a license on their behalf by adding them as a licensee during checkout. In this case, you may send them the fonts that are licensed in their name after purchase.

Another option is for the third party to rent the fonts on a monthly basis from Fontstand. It’s a cost-effective option for freelancers who only need the fonts for a short amount of time.
